That is why every extension journey starts with a 30-minute consultation costing £30. If you go ahead with your extensions, that £30 is fully credited against your fitting appointment.
What Affects the Price of Hair Extensions?

- Hair range and quality — we work with professional hair from Remi Cachet and Beauty Works, with different ranges available at different price points and with different expected lifespans.
- Length — longer extensions generally require more hair and therefore cost more.
- Density and amount of hair — somebody wanting subtle volume may need much less hair than somebody wanting a complete transformation.
- Colour matching — some clients need one shade, while others achieve a more natural result by blending several colours or tonal variations.
- Cutting and blending — extensions need to be integrated into the haircut properly so they look like part of your own hair rather than something added on afterwards.
- Maintenance and aftercare — extensions are an ongoing investment, not simply a one-off fitting.
Hair Extension Methods We Offer
We offer a range of professional extension methods because there is no single system that is right for everybody.
Tape-In Hair Extensions
Tape extensions use slim sections of hair fitted close to the scalp. They are popular for adding length and volume while keeping the attachment relatively flat and lightweight. The hair can often be professionally removed, retaped and reused where it remains in suitable condition.
Mini Tip Hair Extensions
Mini Tips are fitted as individual strands using small discreet locks. They allow very precise placement and natural movement without using heat or glue during fitting.
Nano Tip & Nanobond Hair Extensions
Nano systems use extremely small individual attachment points for discreet placement. We work with professional Nano Tip and Nanobond systems from Remi Cachet and Beauty Works, depending on the client, the hair and the result required.
LA Weave & Weft Extensions
Weft-based methods are ideal where more noticeable density or length is required. A weft is fitted across the head and can provide a substantial amount of hair while still creating a smooth, natural result when fitted and blended properly.
Hair Fillers & Targeted Volume
Not everybody needs a full head of extensions. Shorter extensions and targeted fillers can be used to add density through fine ends, fill sparse sides, improve uneven growth or strengthen the shape of a haircut without dramatically increasing the overall length.

There is not one brand or range that is automatically best for every client. Your stylist will recommend the option that best suits your natural hair, desired result, lifestyle and budget.
Remi Cachet currently offers different professional ranges with different price points and expected longevity. Its Studio range is positioned as a more accessible professional option, while its Elegance range is its premium range designed for greater longevity and colour choice. Beauty Works also offers several professional systems including tapes, wefts, Nanobond and individual methods.
How Long Does Extension Hair Last?
The lifespan of the hair and the maintenance schedule are not the same thing.
Your extensions will normally require professional maintenance long before the hair itself needs replacing. Depending on the system, this may involve removing and refitting the extensions, replacing tapes or rings, checking the condition of your natural hair and reblending the finished style.
Different manufacturers and different hair ranges give different expected lifespans. For example, Remi Cachet currently states that some Studio hair can last up to around nine months with correct care, while selected premium Elegance ranges are designed to last considerably longer with the recommended aftercare. Beauty Works likewise recommends regular maintenance for its professional systems and stresses that correct application and aftercare are essential.
We follow the current manufacturer guidance for the exact hair and method we fit rather than giving everybody the same blanket maintenance schedule.
Why Aftercare Matters
