Consultation & a clear plan
Bring your inspiration and tell us what you want to change. We look at your texture, density, growth patterns and usual parting, agree the length and shape, and discuss how much styling you want to do at home. For a major restyle or specialist short cut, tell us when booking so we can match you with the right stylist.
Wash, cut & shape
For a wash, cut and finish, settle in for your shampoo before we create the agreed shape. Your stylist works with the natural fall of your hair, balancing length, weight and movement. A dedicated curly service may follow a different cutting routine, which we explain at consultation.
Finish & make it yours
We dry and style your hair, refine the details and show you useful techniques for home. Before you leave, we discuss products and when your shape may need refreshing.
Bobs, pixies & beautifully short hair
Short hair is about shape: the outline around your face, the balance through the crown and the detail at the ears and nape. We love a confident crop, a sharp bob, a soft pixie or a more textured, choppy finish.
Claire and Codie are good people to talk to about short hair and a change of shape. Tell reception what you have in mind so we can match your cut with the right stylist; specialist techniques are not offered by every member of the team.
Bring a few references and tell us what you like about each. We consider your hairline, growth patterns and natural movement, agree the length before cutting and explain the styling and maintenance your chosen shape needs.
Long layers, movement & face framing
Keeping length does not have to mean keeping the same shape. Carefully placed layers can introduce movement, a fringe can change the balance and a stronger perimeter can help fine ends look fuller.
We discuss density before removing weight and build a cut around the way you wear your hair — down, tied up, smooth or with its natural wave. If you are growing it, we can plan smaller appointments around that goal.
Blow dries & occasion styling
Bouncy volume, a polished smooth finish, soft waves or a style for a party, prom or special evening. Tell us about your outfit, the event and the finish you love so we can book enough time.
For an updo, intricate styling or hair and makeup together, contact the salon first. Wedding hair has its own planning and trial service with Courtney, Jade and Claire.
Precision shapes & polished straight finishes
A clean outline, balanced weight and a carefully finished fringe make the difference when you wear your hair straight. From a blunt bob to longer lengths with a strong perimeter, we plan the shape around your density, natural fall and the way you part your hair.
Precision does not mean the same cut for everyone. We discuss where you want fullness, where weight needs refining and whether you prefer a sharp line or softer edges. Your stylist checks the finished shape and shows you how to recreate the look at home.
Tell reception if you want a particularly technical short cut, a major restyle or a specific reference look. We will match you with a stylist suited to that work and allow the time it needs.
